Process

One of the greatest components of Seyet’s production pipeline is the use of a web based collaboration software to facilitate asset updates and changes during various stages of development. This online collaboration tools is easy to use and provides a rich set of tools for discussing and requesting changes to visual assets such as videos and images. Directly marking changes on assets eliminates confusion and has shown a significant decrease in cost and time needed for production!

Information at the core of the animation such as your communication needs, research papers, scientific datasets, and presentation material are collected and organized. Based on this content and discussions with the client Seyet will put together an outline of the story to be told that describes the key information to convey and how.

Questions like the following are answered during this stage:

• What is the main goal of this project?
• What is the basis for this product/brand?
• Who are the target audiences and what are their current perspectives?
• What is the main point the audiences must take home?
• How is it to be delivered?
• What preferred and critical deadlines exist?

One of the most time saving stages is Ideation. This stage determines the exact look, length, and emphasis that will be placed on each part of your visualization to maximize retention and understanding of your story. For instance, what exactly will the inside of the cell look like? What needs to be included, and what will only distract the viewer from your message?

At Seyet we follow educational guidelines to maximize the effect of your video. In the end our goal is to entice your audience into action. Flashy graphics can engage your audiences, but well designed communication is what ensures they remember the meaning. The ideation stage is the time spent behind achieving this goal.

The production stage is where your story starts taking its final visual shape. During this time models are created, colored, and animated according to the detailed communication plan prepared up to this point. Every day you will be able to see our progress as your story takes its final shape.

Rendered images from production are compiled and edited together. This is where the video is polished and enhanced. Text and effects are often added at this stage. Timing is adjusted, voiceovers are spliced in, and general refinement is done.

When all assets in production have been finalized they will be packaged in their required physical or digital form. They will then be shipped next day mail and placed on our secure ftp server for immediate download. Your files will be available for download over the next 90 days, and are stored in multiple secured locations for long-term archival.
